During this semester I think I really took the most from the conversations that we had. I learned a lot from them not only about myself but also about how other people who are a little less open to the world and a little more sheltered see things. With a classroom of students from all different places and experiences, I think we had great conversations. Having these diverse, open conversations in a classroom filled with people from different backgrounds helps everyone see the world through new perspectives. It encourages open-mindedness and respect by exposing students to ideas they may not have considered before. These discussions can lead to deeper understanding and stronger connections among us as classmates, as well as follow us into our jobs. Embracing diversity in conversation makes the learning environment richer and more inclusive for everyone, as well as helps other students feel more accepted as a group.
